“A Step Further” – A fundraising dance show for the whole family
July 5th, 4:30 pm at YMCA College Tung Chung, Lantau Island.

This dance show is a great family weekend outing. Escape the heat, get your kids in touch with performing arts and help to raise funds for a group of young dancers who were invited to go to Scotland and represent Hong Kong in the Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF).

The shows consists of the ballet ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ featuring adorable dancers from Edge ‘n Pointe Dance Centre ages 3 to 25 and various modern pieces of the schools’ Youth Company. You don’t have to be a parent of a student to enjoy this well staged show with the littlest dancers bringing joy to the stage and the Youth Company bringing an astounding degree of artistry and perfection through contemporary and touching choreography.

The venue is YMCA College in Tung Chung and it’s held on Sunday, July 5th 2015 at 4:30pm. Their last show at the Polytechic University Hung Hom was sold out fast so secure your tickets at only 80$ per adult, 50$ per child starting Monday here: www.enp-youthcompany.com.

All proceeds from this show go towards the Edge ‘N Pointe Youth Company who had the great honor to be invited to the AIYF based on their quality of performance.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are the Edge ‘n Pointe Dance Centre, based in Tung Chung, Hong Kong.

We were recently invited to participate and represent Hong Kong in the Aberdeen International Youth Festival in Scotland to be held on July 24-August 1, 2015.

The Aberdeen International Youth Festival is one of the world’s biggest international cultural events that attracts young artists from all over the globe, providing them a chance to showcase their talents, and also bringing together different cultures through the arts.

I am proud to say that the Edge ‘n Pointe Dance Centre has been selected to join this festival based on the quality of performing arts we have produced in the past. We currently offer quality dance training and have dance scholarship programs for the poor kids of Tung Chung and for young artists all over Hong Kong who want to hone their craft. Committed to our mission of promoting the arts to the youth, we will be bringing 10 multi-cultural dancers and 3 administrators to this festival. They are composed of young dancers aged 18-25 who are based in Hong Kong. Our 3 administrators will be the director, choreographer, and production manager.

It is with our humble hearts that we request for sponsorship or even the smallest of donations for this event. Given the fact that the Edge ‘n Pointe Dance Centre is just a small centre which has big dreams of promoting the arts to the youth, we need to rely on sponsorship to get us to Scotland, proudly represent Hong Kong, and foster the arts in our youth.

Please call (+852) 66882167 for more details or email admin@edgenpointe.com

Thank you very much for your kind generosity!
